Mr. Gallagher's credentials include a listing in Who's Who in American Law, and appointments by the Circuit Judges of Ingham, Eaton, Clinton and Lenawee Counties to their Case Evaluation Panels. He was specially appointed to be the Ingham County Public Administrator by Michigan Attorney General Michael Cox to represent the State and others as determined by the Probate Court in probate, trust, conservatorship and guardianship matters. In 2007, Mr. Gallagher received state certification as a Certified Facilitative Mediator for Michigan courts and has been approved to serve as a mediator with over twenty statewide courts. He is a member of the American Bar Association as well as the State Bar of Michigan's Business Law, Real Estate and Alternate Dispute Resolution sections. Additionally, Mr. Gallagher holds memberships with the Federal Bar Association and the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. Locally, he is member of the Clinton County Bar Association, Eaton County Bar Association and Ingham County Bar Association. Mr. Gallagher actively participates in the Ingham County Bar Association activities such as Ingham County Young Lawyers, the Board of Directors, the Bench Bar Committee, and the Establishing a Law Practice Committee. Currently, he is President-Elect of the Ingham County Bar Association. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Gallagher is a working participant in several significant business ventures involving real estate and banking. He has held a Michigan Real Estate Broker license since 1998. His bank involvement includes being an incorporator, director and committee member of the local Summit Community Bank as well as participation in the Michigan Association of Community Bankers. Mr. Gallagher is a member of many trade organizations relating to his clients’ various industries. He actively participates in the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA). He is involved in the Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council, the Michigan Business Brokers Association, and the National Association of Structured Settlement Purchasers. Mr. Gallagher is a frequent presenter to his fellow members of the Michigan Association of Petroleum Landmen, and serves as General Counsel for the Lansing Chapter of the Safari Club International. He has held association in the Chamber of Commerce groups for the Greater Lansing area and Clinton County for many years. Mr. Gallagher enjoys an ongoing involvement with the Detroit Athletic Club and often takes part in Lansing Country Club activities. |
